Parents are encouraged to round up their children Saturday and head down to the Columbus Main Library for Safe Kids Columbus' annual Bike Rodeo.
This free event will be held in the library parking lot at 3000 Macon Road from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. All children ages 14 and under will be properly fitted for a free bike helmet while supplies last. Each child will only be allowed one helmet. The child must be present for the fitting and an adult must be present for registration.
Kids are encouraged to bring their bikes with them so they can participate in the following rodeo stations: Helmet fitting station, bike inspection station, certificate station, obstacles (safe riding lessons), bike security and more.
This event is sponsored by Safe Kids Columbus, Columbus Health Department, Columbus Police Department, Walmart, GT Speed, and Incognito.
