Columbus Lions quarterback Chris McCoy has bee named the Southern Indoor Football League's Offensive Player of the Week.
McCoy led the Lions over the Lafayette Wildcatters with a 19-for-37 passing performance for 257 yards and six touchdowns, according to league records.
Albany Panthers linebacker Steve Morrison was named the Defensive Player of the Week after picking up a tackle and an interception for a touchdown in the Panthers' 78-13 victory over Greenville on Saturday.
Panthers kicker Juan Bongarra was named the Special Teams Player of the Week after going 8-for-10 on point-after attempts and adding two unos.
The Lions play at the Greenville Force on Friday and do not have a home game in Columbus until June 5.
