Big notes and quirky fashion choices couldn't sustain Siobhan Magnus' popularity on "American Idol." She was eliminated from the Fox reality TV competition Wednesday night.
Casey James and Michael "Big Mike" Lynche joined Magnus in Wednesday's bottom three.
Magnus, a glass blower who divided fans with her token high notes, sang "Any Man of Mine" on Tuesday's Shania Twain night. It got positive reviews from the judges, compared to Magnus' recent shaky weeks.
In a season touted as the year of the women, just one female -- Crystal Bowersox -- made it to the top five. Along with Bowersox, remaining contestants are Lynche, James, Lee DeWyze and Aaron Kelly.
Next week's theme is Frank Sinatra songs with mentor Harry Connick Jr.
Wednesday's show also featured performances by Shakira, Rascal Flatts, Lady Antebellum and Sons of Sylvia.
