After taking a year off, Cantus Columbus is back. The only professional chorus in town, founded and directed by Bill Bullock, now in its 11th season, is presenting "Love Is Here to Stay -- The Music of George and Ira Gershwin" at 7:30 p.m. May 4 in Legacy Hall, RiverCenter for the Performing Arts, 900 Broadway.
Accompanists include pianist Janie Lee Bullock and the Vega Quartet.
Standard include songs like "Embraceable You," "Someone to Watch Over Me," "I Got Rhythm" and "Summertime."
Lesser-known tunes include "But Not for Me," "Looking for the Boy" and He Loves and She loves."

Though known for their more serious songs, the Gershwin brothers wrote some novelty tunes like "Slap That Bass," "Sweet and Low Down," "The Real American Folk Song" and "Blah, Blah, Blah."
Cantus Columbus will also sing songs from musicals and films like "Porgy and Bess," "Girl Crazy," "Of Thee I Sing" and "Shall We Dance?"
Tickets are $32 and about 100 tickets are left.
