"The Real Housewives of New Jersey" begins its second season at 10 p.m. tonight on Bravo.
The cast hasn't changed since last season. It includes Teresa Giudice, Danielle Staub, Jacqueline Laurita, Dina Manzo and Caroline Manzo.
The first season culminated last June with the infamous "table pushing" dinner party that was one of the most dramatic confrontations in "Housewives" history. Here's a quick recap:
Housewife Teresa Giudice -- sporting a new set of, um, physical assets -- hosted the party and invited cast member Danielle Staub, despite recent tensions between Danielle and some of the other women. Danielle showed up with a party favor: a copy of "Cop Without a Badge," her ex-husband's book that accuses her of kidnapping, extortion, and drug possession.
Never miss a local story.
Danielle pulled out the book and accused housewife Dina Manzo of telling the community about it. In the middle of their screaming match, Dina's sister Caroline Manzo intervened and said she was the one who spread word about the book.
The three women entered a heated argument, during which Jacqueline Laurita -- Dina and Caroline's sister-in-law -- surprisingly stood up for Danielle.
Teresa had been quiet throughout the entire thing, until she abruptly lashed out on Danielle. She got angry enough to knock over a table. Luckily, one of the housewives' husbands was there to calm things down just as the show ended.
