The Greater Columbus Chamber of Commerce is accepting applications for its 2010-2011 Leadership Columbus program.
The program is for existing and emerging leaders in the Columbus community. From August to June, participants learn about local challenges in the realms of education, health care, military, public safety, economic development and more. The program aims to encourage participants to address and help solve those issues. Organizers say the program also helps enhance leadership skills.
About 40 people participate each year. Leadership Columbus was established in 1980.
This year's deadline is June 30.
