A Columbus man facing child molestation charges was indicted by a Musocgee County grand jury on Tuesday.
Anthony Berry, 44, was indicted on two counts each of child molestation and enticing a child for indecent purposes and one count of solicitation of sodomy, court records state.
Berry allegedly kissed the 14-year-old girl between July 1 and Sept. 23. He also is accused of touching her inappropriately, the indictment states.
A conviction for child molestation warrants five to 20 years in prison. An enticing a child conviction will get a defendant 10 to 30 years in prison. A solicitation of sodomy conviction requires a five to 20-year sentence.
