One contestant will be eliminated on tonight's one-hour episode of "American Idol," which airs 9 p.m. on Fox. The show will feature performances by Lady Gaga and Harry Connick Jr., this week's mentor.
In a pre-taped segment, Lady Gaga will sing "Alejandro," her newest hit. Fans have high expectations for the performance, given the magic that happened when Gaga took the "Idol" stage to perform "Poker Face" last year.
When the "Idol" finalists sang Frank Sinatra tunes Tuesday night, Lee DeWyze and Michael "Big Mike" Lynche led the pack. But overall, it was a very underwhelming night.
Who's going home tonight? My money's on rocker Casey James. Without his guitar, he nervously suffered through a shaky rendition of "Blue Skies."
Never miss a local story.
Share your predictions on our "Idol" blog, which will be updated live throughout tonight's show.
