The National Infantry Museum and Soldier Center at Patriot Park will host the Dignity Memorial Traveling Vietnam Wall exhibition May 27 through June 14.
The wall is a traveling, three-quarter scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C. inscribed with the names of 58,000 Americans who died or are missing in Vietnam.
So far, the monument has been displayed in more than 200 cities across the country. Now it is coming to Columbus.
As part of the exhibit, there will be a tent with tables and chairs available for organizations to display their banners and distribute literature. The tent will be available to only one organization at a time, but each organization can reserve the tent more than one day.
Because of special events scheduled June 1 and June 5, tent priority goes to the 173rd Airborne Association and the Vietnam Veterans of America.
Contact Lora Warren at 706-685-5810 or by email at email@example.com to schedule tent time for your organization.
