Larry J. Waller has joined the Greater Columbus Chamber of Commerce as chief operating officer.
Waller will oversee daily operations at the chamber and direct funding initiatives needed to carry out its 2010 strategic plan.
Prior to joining the chamber, Waller spent 12 years with National Community Development Services, a provider of fundraising campaigns for chambers of commerce and economic and community development groups across North America. The chamber executive has served organizations in Iowa, Montana, South Dakota and Alabama.
Waller graduated from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Institute for Organization Management and its Advanced Academy at the University of Notre Dame. In 1985, he received his Certified Chamber Executive designation.
