One of the men implicated by police in the robbery of an Arby’s had gotten an application for the restaurant prior to the Saturday holdup, a detective testified in Columbus Recorder’s Court.
Christopher Gary Odom, 31, and Jacorey Passmore, 20, pleaded not guilty on Monday to accusations of armed robbery and had their cases bound over to Muscogee County Superior Court.
Columbus Police Detective Vincent Sampson testified that the suspects entered the business at 3754 Victory Drive around 9:15 a.m. The assistant manager had seen a delivery man outside and wondered why he hadn’t entered. About 15 minutes later, there was a knock at the door.
“When she opens the door, there was an individual stooped over with a gun,” Sampson said.
