A traffic stop in Auburn, Ala., today led to the discovery of what authorities say was more than three ounces of crack cocaine.
Officers stopped a Chevrolet Impala around 1:10 a.m. CDT on Ala. 29 near the Macon County line. The three men inside the car appeared suspicious, which led police to call for a drug-sniffing dog, reports state.
The dog signaled that drugs could be inside and a search revealed more than three ounces of suspected crack cocaine, police said.
Officers then arrested Montavius Chambers, 24, Demarcus K. Johnson, 23, and Montavious A. Bulger, 24, all of Opelika, Ala., on drug trafficking accusations, reports state.
