Police in LaGrange, Ga. are investigating an incident in which two men were shot.
The incident took place at the Sandpiper Club at 1018 Borton Street.
It was at 3:20 a.m. August 8 that police officers responded to a call from the West Georgia Medical Center in reference to a subject who came in with a gunshot wound to the left foot.
The victim Labrodrick King, 21, of LaGrange stated that two men had gotten into an altercation and one pulled a handgun and fired a shot. King said he was almost at the building's exit when the shot went off. He said when the shot went off he felt a pain in his foot but it wasn't until he got in his car that he realized he had been shot.
He said he didn't know either of the men in the fight.
While police were speaking with King, a second victim, Desmond Crawls, 37, of LaGrange, came into the emergency room with a gunshot wound to the left calve area of the leg. Crawls described the same fight and said he tried to break it up. At that time the gun was fired and, Crawls said, he was hit with a through and through shot.
Both men were treated and released from the hospital.
LaGrange police are investigating and anyone with information should call 706-883-2603.
