Temperatures may still be in the high 70s and lower 80s, but according to the calendar, it is fall.
And the Landings is celebrating the season with two events 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday.
Carmen Johnston, founder of Nectar & Co. in Thomaston, Ga., will demonstrate tips on seasonal displays and how to make a container garden. She'll be at the Landings throughout the day.
Then dress up your dogs in their best costumes for the Howl-o-Ween Pups on Parade at 10 a.m. Prizes will be rewarded and every dog will receive a trick or treat bag.
Never miss a local story.
It's all free.
And don't forget all the fall vegetables, fruits, jam and jellies, homemade cakes, paintings and jewelry on display and for sale. There are also plenty of children's activities as well, including hayrides.
The scarecrows in the Scarecrow Contest will be on display starting Saturday as well.
