A 15-year-old boy was robbed at knifepoint Thursday evening, according to Columbus police.
The boy was at a trailer park on Plateau Drive around 7 p.m., walking to a friend's trailer, when he was approached by two male juveniles on bicycles.
One of the suspects pulled out a pocket knife and threatened to harm the boy. Police said he reached in the boy's pocket and took his cell phone, valued at about $100, and $75 in cash.
The juveniles then fled the scene on the bicycles. The boy chased after them, but he lost them.
Both suspects were described as black males, between 13 and 14 years old and standing about five-feet-three-inches tall.
According to the report, one of the boys weighed approximately 105 lbs, was wearing a black T-shirt and blue shorts and was riding a black bike. The other boy weighed approximately 98 lbs and was wearing a tank top, blue shorts and a ball cap. He was riding a pink Huffy bike, police said.
The case remains under investigation.
