In the two polls that make up two-thirds of the BCS formula, Auburn moved up to No. 2 in both. The USA Today coaches poll and the Harris Interactive poll moved Auburn up one spot from last week. Oregon is No. 1 in both polls.
In the six computers that make up the other third of the BCS formula, Auburn is No. 1 in each computer. Oregon is No. 2 in four computers, third in one and seventh in one. The best and worst of the computer rankings are thrown out.
The top two teams in the BCS standings advance to the BCS national championship game.
Oregon remained No. 1 in the AP sportswriters poll. The AP poll is not used in the BCS formula.
The rest of the top 10 are TCU, Boise State, Utah, Alabama, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Wisconsin, LSU.
Alabama is the highest-ranked one-loss team.
