LaGrange police are investigating a Halloween night burglary.
According to police, the incident occurred just after 11 p.m. on Sunday at a residence on Greenville Street. The home owner was inside his house when he heard movement from a vacant back bedroom and called police.
When police arrived, they secured the exterior of the residence and found a window open in the back bedroom. They found no one inside the house.
The home owner told police that nothing was taken. However, the suspect did open several drawers in the bedroom, as if looking for something.
The case remains under investigation.
