Hardaway High School will host an open house for students interested in applying to the school's magnet program on Thursday, November 4 at 6:30 p.m.
The high school on College Drive has an International Baccalaureate magnet program. The curriculum emphasizes critical thinking, an exposure to a variety of viewpoints, and inter-cultural understanding among young people.
Students must complete an application and take an entrance exam to be considered for the program. Students have until February to apply for a magnet program.
The school accepts 100 students per grade level into the magnet program, with a maximum of 50 students per grade level coming from outside of the school's attendance zone.
Never miss a local story.
