A fundraiser concert for the 30th anniversary of Chattahoochee Valley Episcopal Ministry is 7 p.m. Sunday at Trinity Episcopal Church, 1130 First Ave.
"The Organ in Community" will feature Michael Snoddy, organist at choirmaster at Trinity, and instrumentalist Justin Belew, a producer.
This is the final celebration of CVEM’s “30 for 30” Campaign which honors the 30th anniversary by raising $30,000 to support and enhance its programs of outreach, empowerment and advocacy.
The event is open to the public. Tickets are $15 in advance, and $20 at the door. However, if one is a “patron” of the “30 for 30” campaign (who has donated $90 or more), tickets are complimentary.
The theme is “Inspired to Work We Can Accomplish More Together Than We Could Ever Do Alone.”
Music will be as varied as violin to African drum. The concert is followed by a champagne and dessert reception.
