Columbus police arrested eight people on a marijuana distribution charge in a Monday bust they say netted more than $20,000 in pot.
Probation officers approached a mobile home in Pine Grove Mobile Home Park, 3150 Plateau Drive, around 1 p.m. in search of someone, said Capt. Gil Slouchick.
“As they walked up to the front door, the front door was open and they saw several people smoking marijuana,” the captain added.
The probation officers took eight people into custody and contacted Slouchick. Special operations officers then got a search warrant, entered the mobile home and found more than 5 pounds of marijuana in large Ziploc bags, the captain said.
