Metro Narcotics agents arrested two Columbus residents on meth charges after a Tuesday traffic stop, police said.
Devonne Jung Flowers, 33, and Sarah Whitney Phillips, 24, face charges in connection with the 4:25 p.m. traffic stop at Manchester Expressway and Warm Springs Road, reports state.
According to police, officers saw Flowers driving a 2003 Chevrolet Suburban with a cracked windshield. Officers then stopped the vehicle and discovered what reports call almost 2 grams of ice — a form of methamphetamine — worth $190.
Phillips also had two bags of suspected meth worth $400 and $15 worth of what police said was Xanax.

Flowers is charged with possession of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute and two traffic offenses: cracked windshield and obstructed tag. Phillips also faces the meth distribution charge as well as charges of Violation of the Georgia Controlled Substance Act and abandonment of a controlled substance, reports state.
