Alina Wilson, a 23-year-old art student from California, was eliminated from "Survivor Nicaragua" on Wednesday. She went home on a 10-2 vote over Marty Piombo.
During the tribal council voting session, Benry called Alina a "dirt squirrel." Fans consulted Urban Dictionary to define the term, which apparently means "a female of questionable character."
Here's a full recap of this week's show:
Never miss a local story.
It's time for The Merge! Prior to the main event, Espada tribe members wage a growing backlash against Alina.
The tribes get special food upon merging. Marty names the new tribe: "Libertad." It means "freedom." The castaways savor the feast. Naonka smuggles food in her bra.
Brenda is overly excited to see Naonka. They catch each other up on recent events and Naonka promises things are about to get "real wicked." Meanwhile, Chase and Jane bond quickly.
But it's not all smiles. Big surprise: Naonka gets irritated, takes some flour and walks away from camp. Why? She's mad the castaways ate all the tortillas she made. Naonka's klepto tendencies don't stop there. She also hides some fruit.
Alina confronts Naonka and learns she's not exactly Miss Popular right now. On the plus side, she gets to eat some of Naonka's stolen fruit. Naonka thinks it'll earn her Alina's jury vote.
Now the bowl and frying pan are missing. Oh, Naonka. What would we do without you? Fabio yells at Naonka, while Alina stays mum about Naonka's crime. Apparently Chase knows, too.
Alina and Chase convince Naonka to come clean. Naonka confesses and says she just wanted to measure the flour -- you know, for the good of the tribe. Sure.
Sash, Brenda and Chase maintain their alliance with Naonka, but temporarily distance themselves.
Marty tries to sway the younger players against Jane. He claims she's likable enough to win the game. Brenda worries Marty's messing with people's minds.
Challenge time! The castaways must keep tension on a steel bar.
Kelly Purple is out first, then Dan, then Alina, then Brenda, then Benry, then Sash, then Naonka, then Holly. Jane is the last woman standing, but keeps playing to prove a point.
Marty, Fabio and Chase are left for the guys. Marty is out. Chase is out.
Fabio wins immunity for the men, Jane wins immunity for the women. She tells us her main goal was to beat Marty.
The castaways debate between eliminating Alina or Marty. Sash breaks some tough news. When Marty surrendered the Idol, Sash promised he'd keep him around another week. Jane isn't happy and refuses to vote for Alina.
Dan says Chase told him he'll blindside Marty. He shares the news with Marty, who gets paranoid. "He's actually digging his own grave at the moment," Sash says.
Alina approaches Fabio and tries to convince him to vote for Marty. It doesn't seem to work.
At tribal council, Marty says he needs to clear the air. His announcement? Watch out for Jane. If your vote her into the final three, she'll win. "If Jane makes it to the final three, I will cast my vote for this woman," he says, adding that nobody should be stupid enough to keep Jane around.
On a 10-2 vote, Alina is eliminated from "Survivor Nicaragua."
