A man and a woman were indicted Tuesday on accusations they lighted two sets of fires to mobile homes on Farr Road in May, records state.
Alonzo T. Perkins, 30, and Rebecca Betham, 22, face indictments on four counts of first-degree arson and one count each of theft by receiving stolen property, records show.
Columbus police accuse the pair of setting fires to mobile homes on May 23 and May 28 at Park Crest Mobile Home Park, 988 Farr Road.
In the first set of fires on May 23, the suspects entered the trailers and used trash to start the fire. Two different trailers were set afire on May 28, Fire Marshal Thomas Streeter has said. The fire marshal added that the pair was stealing copper.
