Fans who are anticipating the first half of the final chapter in the "Harry Potter" movie series can get ready by watching the first six films. The movie adaptations of J.K. Rowling's novels about a young wizard and his friends (and enemies) are as popular as the books themselves.
Carmike Cinemas begins showing "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Carmike 15, 5555 Whittlesey Blvd.
The schedule that follows is “Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets,” 6 p.m. Wednesday; “Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban,” 9 p.m. Wednesday; “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire,” 3 p.m. Thursday; “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix,” 6 p.m. Thursday; “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince,” 9 p.m. Thursday and “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1,” 12:01 a.m. Friday.
For the midnight show of "Deathly Hallows," all of the theaters in Carmike 15 will be available, so you won't have to worry about not getting a seat.
Tickets for the entire series are $25. Just hang on to your ticket to get in both days.
