The annual protest by the SOA Watch will continue today at the gates of Fort Benning until at least 1 p.m.
Twenty-two people were arrested by Columbus police on Saturday and charged with offenses including unlawful assembly and parade permit required. Two 78-year-olds were arrested and accused of stepping onto post. They were turned over to U.S. Marshals, a public information official said.
Today, a procession is expected to walk toward post on Fort Benning Road and put memorials on a fence put up for the weekend's events. Singers will sing out the names of people who have died.
