A firefighter got a blister on his ear as he battled a blaze at a Reese Road home Monday afternoon, authorities said.
Firefighters responded to the home near Fairview Drive at 1:35 p.m. It took them about 15 minutes to bring the fire under control, said Capt. Jeffrey Forte.
No one was at the home at the time, the captain said.
At some point, a firefighter was blistered on his ear. No one else received any injuries, Forte added.
The cause of the fire and where it started in the house remain under investigation.
