A man accused of robbing and murdering a Valley woman has confessed to the crime, according to police.
John Bradley Limes was one of two people arrested Wednesday in connection with the death of Kathlene Lucile Landino. Landino was found by her son when he returned to their 223 S. First St. home and discovered the strong smell of natural gas.
Police said Limes confessed his involvement in Landino's death when he was interviewed by investigators. He has been charged with murder during first-degree robbery and has been transported to the Chambers County jail.
Leslie Lea King, the estranged wife of Landino's son, was also arrested Wednesday for her involvement in Landino's death. She also confessed and was booked into the Chambers County jail on a charge of murder during first-degree robbery.
