Barbara Buckner and Nancy Barry, the two finalists to become the next dean of the College of Education and Health Professions at Columbus State University, will be on campus this week meeting with faculty, staff, students, administrators and community partners.
Buckner is currently associate provost at Coastal Carolina University. Barry is head of the Department of Curriculum and teaching at Auburn University.
The public is invited to attend an open presentation by each dean candidate.
Buckner's presentation will be today from 3:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. in the auditorium of the Center for Commerce and Technology.
Barry's presentation will be Thursday from 3:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. in the auditorium of the Center for Commerce and Technology.
The job became open when David Rock left CSU to become dean of the school of education at the University of Mississippi.
