Two Muscogee County high schools will hold open houses for students interested in magnet programs this week.
Northside High will host an open house for its engineering and engineering design and technology academy at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 1 at the school on American Way.
The program offers a variety of courses, as well as summer programs and partnerships with regional universities and technical schools.

Carver High will host an open house for its integrated math, science and technology magnet program at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 2 at the school on Benning Drive.
The college preparatory program offers students the chance to work with technology including computers, graphing calculators and laptops.
