Opelika police are searching for a man they say fatally shot Tavares Trammell Jones at King’s Mobile Home Estates on Friday.
Eric Leonard Frazier, 32, is wanted in connection with the shooting of Jones, 30, who was found lying in a vacant lot at 3500 Dale Ave. after 10 p.m. EST.
Frazier should be considered armed and dangerous. If seen, he should not be approached, said Opelika Police Capt. Allan Elkins.
Police said they were called to the mobile home park on an anonymous complaint of gunshots and a possible assault victim. When they arrived, they found Jones with multiple gunshot wounds to his chest and lower abdomen, authorities said.
