A Columbus man accused of selling a cell phone with pictures of underage children on it pleaded guilty Tuesday to six counts of sexual exploitation of children, prosecutors said.
Randall Slone, 58, was sentenced to four years in prison, followed by 11 on probation, said Assistant District Attorney Jarrell Schley. He must also pay a $3,000 fine.
Slone was arrested on April 16 after a woman he sold his cell phone to took a look at pictures on it. He never made bond, authorities said.
“She started to go through the phone and immediately noticed the pictures,” Schley said. “She immediately went down to the police department.”
The phone had sexually explicit pictures of children on it, police said.
