Columbus State University's department of theater is presenting "Eurydice," which opens Thursday for a weekend run. The Greek classic can be seen at 7:30 p.m. Thursday-Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday in the Theater on the Park in downtown Columbus.
This is a contemporary version of "Eurydice," adapted by Sarah Ruhl, and envisioned through a woman’s eyes.
Saturday, a buffet dinner is available at 6 p.m. On the menu are Caesar salad, delta chicken breast with alfredo sauce, tricolor cheese tortellini alfredo, Tuscan orzo, seasoned green beans, warm rolls with butter, fresh berry zabaglione and iced tea, water, coffee and wine.
The buffet dinner is $25, but you must make your reservations by 5 p.m. Wednesday by calling Cameron Bean at 706-507-8415.
