A 15-year-old boy faces a charge of pointing a gun at another after police say he put a pistol to the head of a Northside High School student Tuesday night.
According to reports, the 16-year-old Northside High student was talking to a 13-year-old girl on Water Oak Drive around 7:45 p.m. when he spotted the suspect walking nearby and staring at him. The student asked if the suspect had a problem, and he replied that they “can handle it in the street.”
The suspect then pulled a silver handgun from his belt line and put it to the student’s head, saying “This could be your last day.” The suspect then pushed the student and kept walking down the street, police said.
The student told his parents about the incident, as did the girl. When she returned outside, she spotted both teens fighting.
The suspect told officers that he fought with the other teen, but denied having a gun. Officers then charged him with pointing a pistol at another and minor in possession of a handgun. He’s currently waiting for a Juvenile Court date, reports state.
