Auburn's patented several-minute scoring drought reared its ugly ahead again Saturday.
The Tigers were out-scored 20-2 during a seven-minute stretch midway through the second half of a 77-60 loss to No. 18 Vanderbilt at the Auburn Arena.
John Jenkins, the SEC's leading scorer, shook off a slow start to finish with 22 points for the Commodores (20-6, 8-4 SEC), making five of the team's nine 3-pointers.
Jeffery Taylor added 20 and Brad Tinsley 16 for Vanderbilt, which reached 20 wins for the sixth time under coach Kevin Stallings.
Earnest Ross led the Tigers (9-17, 2-10) with 19 points and 10 rebounds. Kenny Gabriel added 13.
Auburn returns to action Wednesday at Alabama, starting at 8 p.m. ET.
