A Columbus girl missing for two weeks turned up at DFACS Tuesday morning, police said.
Jazzmyne Bullard, 15, left her grandmother’s Teresa Street home on Feb. 6. Police say that Jazzmyne left after an argument with her mother and may have had her departure planned.
The girl’s father contacted Jazzmyne’s friends on Facebook, and they told him where she was. The father called police Tuesday morning and told them they were at the Department of Family and Children Services on Linwood Boulevard, said Detective Jesse Knight.
“She has returned,” Knight added. “She’s safe and sound.”
Never miss a local story.
The girl had been staying with a friend. She’ll now stay with her grandmother, Knight said.
