The Ledger-Enquirer live blogged Jersey Shore Season 3 Episode 9 which first aired Feb. 24, 2011. See a full recap below:
A quick review of last week: The guys bust in on Snooki and her newest male friend, there was a prank war and Snooki's stuffed alligator was hanged, Sweetheart leaves, JWoww tells Ronnie that Sweetheart was justified, Ronnie says he'll leave the shore house.
Now, the latest episode: Snooks tells her male friend to leave the house in the morning. She says she won't see him again. She then calls another man whose number she has and suggests they meet.
Pauly D tries to get the Situation out of bed for their "job." He shouts for Deena to awake for the "job" as well. Deena is feeling somewhat ill at the T-shirt shop and is not in the mood to work. She, the Situation and Pauly D wander off on a break.
Back at the house, Ronnie calls his father for some advice. Ronnie says he's not going to get better at the house, and his father says he'll come to the shore tonight.
The "working" part of the crew is at the midway, tossing balls into baskets in hopes of getting some tawdry prize. Their "boss," meanwhile, is trying to call them on their cell phones. Instead of winning the tiny motorcycle, they decide to buy it and Pauly D carries it back to teh shop.
Ronnie's father then arrives at the shore, and they walk along the commercial area of the shore. They end up at a restaurant, and Ronnie is sharing his deepest personal feelings about Sweetheart.
"You can do it, bro," his father sagely advises.
Ronnie says he'll remain at the house.
The "working" crew return to the house, the tiny motorcycle in tow. Ronnie is ready to ride it. He powers it up and cruises around the porch as smoke belches from the exhaust. Pauly D then has a turn, and then Vinny. It's the first time Pauly D has seen Ronnie smile since Sweetheart's departure.
Deena wants to ride, but Pauly D says it's out of gas.
Snooki calls her other male friend, pointing out that it's past 4:30 p.m. - the time he said he'd call her. He fails to answer his phone, and Snookers is unpleased.

JWoww calls her male friend, Roger, and discusses Snooki's situation, lowercase, with the male who won't answer her calls. It turns out that there's a familial relationship with a number of men Snooki has associated with.
Vinny points out that the toilet remains clogged. It's become personal for him, and he intends to unclog the toilet. Vinny is somewhat opposed to calling a plumber, though he can't fix it by himself.
Snooki asks whether Vinny would like to associate with her. Vinny declines. Wisely.
Vinny calls the cab company and asks for the taxi's location which he requested some time ago. Snooki says she's angered by Vinny, saying that he's the one who always associates with unattractive women.

Snooks states that she's over Vinny. She says he's mean, and that a double standard exists in the house. Vinny attempts to apologize as Snooki walks away.
Another night at the club: Vinny is dancing with Snooki, and she says they're having a really good time.
JWoww is talking to some guys she's met, one of whom says he's a very good friend of Roger's. JWoww says she doesn't want to destroy her relationship with Roger by associating with other men.
The crew return to the house, and Snooki curls up into her bed. Vinny and Snooki have some private time, though Vinny says she doesn't want to truly be with him.
Pauly D isn't sure what's going on between the two. He suggests they spend some private time together, though Vinny isn't comfortable being with Snooki when she has so many male friends.
Ronnie calls Sweetheart, saying he wants to hear her voice. She asks if he's OK, and he says he almost left the house yesterday. He asks about their relationship, and she says that he put her through much.
"I was wrong for everything."
Sweetheart says that she can be a friend for Ronnie, but she can't be with him romantically. She tells him not to ruin his life over her, but he says that she is his life.

Snooki and Deena have a marshmallow fight in the kitchen. They place the confections on pieces of furniture and decide to get some drinks and leave the marshmallows where they left them.
The Situation calls a cab for Deena and Snooks, since they want to get some drinks. However, he tells the cabbie to take them to Times Square and that the girls believe they're going to a local establishment. He figures, if you're going to do a prank, go big.
Pauly D discovers the marshmallows. The Situation then pulls Pauly D outside and tells him about the prank. Pauly D approves. Vinny says he wants to go with the girls, but Pauly D pulls him aside and tells him the truth.
Deena and Snooki get in the cab and appear clueless. The cabbie tells them he has to go an odd way because of the traffic.
The guys prepare for tonight, and it just might be ... T-shirt time!!!
It's not T-shirt time. The guys are hungry and on a serious time span. The Situation says he'll only be five minutes, but they guys are impatient. Ronnie says he needs to go, and they leave with the Situation.

The guys get in their SUV and leave. The guys talk about the Situation's creeping methods at the club. They then arrive at the restaurant.
Pauly D and Deena realize that they're an hour away from where they intended to go and they want to turn around.
The Situation is finally ready and is somewhat upset that the guys left without him. He says it's proper courtesy to wait for someone when you know that individual will soon be prepared.
The Situation hops in a car and gets some food for himself with JWoww, with her two dogs. They return to the home, and he lays out his spread.
Meanwhile, the guys who can actually get ready in five minutes are at an Italian restaurant enjoying their massive meal.
The Situation is having a farce, talking to his house mates who aren't there. He appears bitter, and JWoww laughs at him.
At Sweetheart's house: she's returning to the shore! She tells herself that she'll be fine, and her mother tells her that it won't be easy. Her sister tells her that Ronnie will try to win her back, and that Sweetheart must remain strong.
She gets in her car and drives off.
Meanwhile, near Times Square: The girls have figured out that they've been pranked. It's getting dark, and the girls are terribly angry.

Deena and Snooks are in New York City, or close enough to it that it doesn't matter. Both of them declare that they will never speak with him again. They purchase some alcohol and get back in the cab for the ride back.
The guys return to the house, and the Situation is displeased. Vinny is feeling bad, because he ate too much. Ronnie and Pauly D fall to the ground and lie insensate.
Pauly D realizes that the Situation is unhappy, but says he must know that they're serious when they say they're going to leave.
Back in the cab: The girls figure that Vinny must associate with Snooki to win back her friendship.
They return to the house, and loudly declare that they had a great time. And then Snooki tells the Situation that she hates him and will never speak with him again.
Snooki is angry, though she admits the prank was worthy and they must return the favor.
It's our last commercial sign!!!
Snooki tells JWoww how upset she is. She confronts Vinny about him not telling her about the prank. Vinny says he doesn't want to be in a position where he must snitch. Pauly D then mocks the girls' anger.
The crew is preparing for a night out, and Sweetheart then pulls up at the house. She walks inside the home, and Pauly D casually tells her hello.
Ronnie's face grows into stone and he steps outside.
