Valley, Ala., police have recovered $22,100 in U.S. Treasury bonds after a burglary in early February, authorities said.
Officers arrested Dustin Paine Edge, 37, on Monday in connection with the Valley burglary. He faces a charge of first-degree receiving stolen property, though more charges are pending, said Maj. Mike Reynolds.
According to Reynolds, a Valley resident reported a burglary and theft on Feb. 7. Included in the theft were several bonds.
Investigators executed a search warrant on a Center Street home on Monday and found 280 bonds worth about $22,100, Reynolds said.Edge is being held at the Chambers County Detention Center, the major added.
