Three suspects took $3,600 in cash from a 65-year-old man in a Wednesday morning robbery, Columbus police said.
The man was walking along Brown Avenue between 9 and 10:30 a.m. when the suspects appeared behind him. They spun him around, ripping the right sleeve of his shirt in the process, and one of the suspects told him to “Give it up,” reports state.
They suspects took $3,6000 in cash from his front pants pocket while holding him at gunpoint. One of them had a .22-caliber black handgun with a white handle. Another suspect had a larger gun with an unknown make and model, police said.
The man wasn’t injured, reports state.
