It’s not that bad.
Despite all the advance hype, the excitement surrounding Valentine’s Day usually fizzles pretty quickly. Before you can assemble a comprehensive list of reasons to hate Feb. 14, the stores have replaced heart-shaped chocolates with Easter eggs in holiday aisles.
Of course, that probably offers little consolation to Valentine’s Day haters, who this year will have to endure festivities on the weekend leading up to the holiday and Feb. 14 itself. Sorry.
Regardless of your opinion of the holiday, take a moment and read this roundup of Valentine’s events, which includes options for both singles and couples.
