Padro “Pete” Quezada, a local attorney and former Columbus police officer, died today after a heart attack, authorities said. He was 68.
Quezada collapsed while in his Corporate Center office before noon, witnesses said. An ambulance took him to St. Francis Hospital, where he died. Quezada was pronounced dead at 11:46 a.m., said Deputy Coroner Freeman Worley.
Quezada worked as a detective with Columbus police before becoming an attorney.
