Authorities say a woman died in a house fire on Marathon Drive Wednesday night.
Erell Williams, 69, died in the blaze at her 3427 Marathon Drive home. No one else was injured, Fire Marshal Ricky Shores said.
Firefighters responded at 7:19 p.m. to Williams’ home, Shores said.
“Firefighters arrived to see flames 12 to 15 feet in the air issuing from the back of the house,” the chief added.
