Columbus police say laptop computers worth a total of $8,850 were stolen from Spencer High School late last year.
The theft happened between Oct. 3 and Dec. 30, though the theft wasn’t reported until Tuesday, reports state.
According to police, someone took 11 netbooks from the Victory Drive school. The theft was discovered when a technology specialist conducted inventory.
