A man who tried to use a stolen credit card at a downtown bar early Sunday was found with $150 worth of marijuana, Columbus police said.
Clifford A. Hornbuckle, 29, is charged with financial transaction card fraud, financial transaction card theft and possession of marijuana, reports state.
According to police, Hornbuckle tried to pay for his $17.25 tab at Scruffy Murphy’s with a stolen credit card. Officers arrived and arrested Hornbuckle, who was then searched. Police then found a bag of marijuana in his pants’ pocket.
Police then took Hornbuckle to the Muscogee County Jail, reports state.
