Columbus Fire & EMS responded to a grease fire at Chester’s Barbeque on Veterans Parkway early today, officials said.
Firefighters responded to the 547 Veterans Parkway restaurant about 5:30 a.m., said Battalion Chief Bryan Watson.
“They had a little old grease fire this morning,” Watson added. “There was nothing to it.”
Watson said a strip of wood over the spot where workers grill food received less than $100 in damage.
