An employee of Vallarta Mexican Restaurant was robbed late Sunday inside his business, Columbus police said.
The robbery at the 2151 Fort Benning Road restaurant happened about 10:15 p.m., though it wasn’t reported until Monday morning, reports state.
According to police, three black men between 19- and 21-years-old entered the business and held the 44-year-old employee at gunpoint. They took $300 in cash before fleeing.
The employee was uninjured, police said.
