Three cars were reported burglarized Friday night outside the Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill and Bar on Airport Thruway.
According to the police report, a 2010 Honda Civic was broken into between 9 p.m. and midnight.
The rear passenger side window was shattered and taken from the car was a gold Big Buddha purse valued at $100.
The victim told officers she left the purse on the rear passenger seat.
When she came out to the car, she found the console lid open. She had closed it before going into the restaurant.
A 2008 Suzuki SX4 was burglarized sometime between 10 p.m. and midnight.
The police report said that, like with the Honda, a rear side window was shattered.
The victim told officers that her purse turned upside down on the floorboard of the vehicle, but she could not find anything missing.
A 2006 Nissan terra was reported burglarized between 9:30 p.m. and midnight.
According to the police report, the rear side window on the driver’s side was shattered.
The victim told officers that a iPod valued at $200 and iPad valued at $450 were taken.
She had left the iPad on the front seat and the iPod in the vehicle’s glove compartment.
The cases are still under investigation.
