A man accused of shoplifting a Smirnoff Ice was found with a pipe used for drugs during his Thursday arrest, Columbus police said.
Michael Lee Faison, 34, is charged with theft by shoplifting and possession of drug-related objects, reports state.
According to reports, Faison stole a $2.49 Smirnoff Ice Green Apple Bite about 4:15 p.m. Thursday from the Quick Stop, 2206 Second Ave. Officers found Faison shortly afterward at a Riverwalk pavilion, at First Avenue and 21st Street. Faison was taken into custody and returned to the store, where the clerk identified him. Officers then searched Faison and found a small pipe in his pocket, police said.
