Police are searching for three juveniles suspected of breaking into Benning Animal Hospital on Fort Benning Road Friday, according to a Columbus Police report.
An employee of the veterinary hospital met with police Saturday at about 11:35 a.m., after discovering damage to the property. The employee told police that the screens on the side of the building had been removed during a break-in, which the business estimated occurred between 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday at about 11:30 a.m.
A surveillance video shows three boys attempting to break into Benning Animal Hospital. The first suspect was a black youth estimated to be about 12-years-old. He was wearing black shoes, a black shirt and an orange hat during the incident. The other two suspects were black boys who appeared to be about 8-years-old. They were both wearing white tank tops and blue jean shorts.
No items were immediately reported stolen. About $150 in damage was done to the business.
