A man was arrested and charged with intent to sell methamphetamine and crack cocaine after he was arrested near 38th Street, according to a Columbus Police report.
An officer was patrolling near the intersection of 38th Street and Hickory Drive when he noticed Wesley Robinson, 36, loitering near a residence on the 3800 block of Hickory Drive at about 2:30 p.m., Wednesday. Robinson was in the door of a vehicle counting a large amount of money.
The officer approached Robinson, who appeared nervous and kept hiding his hands. When police asked to see his hands, he showed two silver objects. He then threw those objects and attempted to escape.
The amount of meth and crack cocaine found during the incident was not available.

Robinson was charged with possession of meth with intent to distribute, possession of crack cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of drug related objects and abandoning a controlled substance. He was taken to Muscogee County Jail.
