VALLEY, Ala. — Police are looking for two suspects after a man was non-fatally shot Thursday at Triangle Service Station on US Highway 29, according to a Valley Police Department press release.
Police arrived at the service station on the 3300 block of US Highway 29 at about 11:54 a.m., after receiving panic alarms from the business. When they arrived, the cashier was on the floor and unresponsive.
The cashier was transported to George H. Lanier Hospital, where he was revived. When he became conscious, he told police that he was shot after two men entered the service station. One he described as a tall, muscular black man wearing an orange shirt. The description for the second man was insufficient.
A witness near the scene told police he saw a gold, extended-cab pick-up with two men in it leave the business. The vehicle was last seen traveling north on Highway 29. It had what could be a University of Kentucky sticker on the back window.
